I am curious if others here have experienced the same silly BS when dealing with businesses.

    Story:
I stopped in to look at a shed dealers offerings to see how well they were constructed and pricing. I wandered around looking in and around them. No one came out which is fine by me I do not like to be pressured . I get done decide while not made the way I would like IE only half boxed corners on the walls and no staggering of the floor plywood seams I decided to go in and get a price sheet and options sheet etc.

I go in talk to a lady behind the counter before I am done asking a guy comes out of the offices and says come on in. I follow him he reaches in to his desk drawer and pulls out a piece of paper and puts it on the desk . He says just fill that out and we can discuss what your looking for. I tell him I wanted a price sheet , options sheet etc. He says sure just fill out the paper . I glance at it and it wants contact info address phone etc . I said no thanks just want the sheets I am not committed to one builder or another yet. He States well if you don't want to fill that out sorry but we don't hand out our brochures etc with out having this paperwork .

I said are you sure that is the policy he states yes sir it is my policy ( he is the owner of the company I found out through a friend) I said well guess you don't want to sell a shed , turned and walked out . He never said a word ....

I have run into this here before buying a truck no price discussion unless I drove it first nope I walked (not the Tacoma) trailer place for the dump trailer no price discussion till I answer how I am going to pay for it I walked, Tacoma no negotiation got told maybe 500 off the window sticker I walked got 3800 ish off the window in another place but it was in MD not DE .

So have you all been seeing this in purchases or is it just this one horse town state ?

No not yet. Several shed places around here have the price sheets out in open.

Some companys are so stupid.when i bought my house i called the propane co. to switch the account to my name.they wanted 400dollars to change the damn name and were smartasses to boot.told them i wasnt paying it,he said we will turn it over to collection agency! I called another propane co. with better prices and they would set the other tank to the side,so i called back the original co and asked for the same guy.told him his tank was on my property and he had 3days to remove it or i would cut it in half and make a smoker out of it and if you tear my yard up you will reseed it have a good F"n day, they came and got it!!

    Good morning all.

The stress level in the house was a bit high last night with the kid packing for school. Move in is tomorrow so that'll make today a nice, fun day...
