Glad you're making some progress, keep at it!

Did you get back antibody tests for the West Nile virus and La Crosse encephalitis?

Some persons will have a positive antibody test for WNV from serum not spinal fluid, and vice versa, so I always do both when testing for WNV. It might be worth getting another set of serum antibody tests to see if you've developed antibodies since first drawn.

Hey Op have them check for Rabbit Fever. If you live in an area with a high tick or mosquito population it can be a possibility. Had a friend a few years ago go thru something very similar. His was masking as an aneurysm. They checked him for meningitis and West Nile but could not be certain it was those. Hope they figure it out, and you get back to 100% soon.

Dude Erik, thanks for sharing and hoping all the best for your recovery and finding out what caused all of this.

Appreciate you sharing this because it does seem nowadays that people would rather get from point A to point B and not pay attention to others around them who may be in need/struggling. This is a great reminder...glad those two girls stopped to help you.

Holy shit man... Now I feel a little bit better about stopping to helps two people a few days ago. Mainly stopped because it was 114-degrees here in Vegas, and I felt bad.

But now. Damn. You never know when you might save a life.

I'm going to be posting the videos from my dash cam in a little bit. Not much of them, but just mainly when I stopped, and when the police pulled me out.

I will warn you now, I am leaving the audio in there. If you want to listen to what sounds like me dieing then leave the audio on, otherwise I would mute it. I had to mute it myself. The videos are uploading now, it will be about a hour till it's ready.

Otherwise I am home now, pooping on my own toilet. I can get around my monkey walking (my daughter said I look like a gorila). I start therapy Monday and will be out for a few weeks. On the plus side, I get to buy a bad ass cane.

NSFW! These are not in any real order right now. The file names are time stamps, A = front camera B = rear camera

Wow, I teared up watching those videos. I didn’t realize you stopped in the traffic lane. Pretty sad people didn’t stop right away. Glad your home and on the mend.

Also, I had walking problems recently and bought a bad ass cane. It does make you feel better. :)

OP- You never mentioned this happened before, unless I missed it!

You probably should’ve had someone take you to the hospital now that we know that.

    Silly pants!

I only listened to about 20 seconds of you talking to the women before I started crying. Thank god they stopped!

    Glad you are home.

Unreal. Watched all the vids but FF through the first one. It was tough to hear. Thank you for sharing.

'What's gonna happen to my truck?' Priceless.

We are all hoping for a speedy recovery and thinking of you.
