I love Toyota and need a 1/2 ton for the backseat room and added tow capabilities. Looking at the Tundra Platinum compared to a Ram 1500 Bighorn with North Edition and RamBoxes, which are really nice. Anyone here with experience on these two models or have any thoughts to share.
    Thanks!

There is not a better riding truck on the market than the Ram. That being said, the realibility is hit and miss. There is a lot of complaints on the Ram forums about the air ride suspension. The Tundra is a dinosaur that has never passed a gas station it didn’t like. I would have bought one instead of my F150 but the gas mileage sucks.

Yeah, the new Ram 1500 have a coil multi link rear suspension versus the leaf springs. I tested a Ram Laramie and it rides so nice. No air ride suspension for me. I would be afraid one of the bags would deflate or something. Thanks for sharing!

I own a 2018 Tundra crew max 4X4 off road. No platinum garbage though. I don't give a shit how nicer the other trucks are or pretend to be, I would never buy an american truck, per experience and other people's experience. Something I can tell you I'm certain of, my tundra will last 3 times longer than any other american truck out there.
