    Any pics? Searched your past posts, didn't find.

    I've got a TRD gray ball knob installed by the previous owner (which I like). There's a rubber grommet in the ring, but it's loose around the shaft. I might have to try your part number, thanks.

    <edit> On the subject... Anyone know how to detach the ring from the vinyl? That ring is a major source of sun glare and I'd like to paint it.

    I left out the best part, Lowe's carries the grommet. $1.05

    Somewhere in the past posted these first 3 but they are with the crappy grommet and you can see it's not up against the base of the knob Yes agree that plastic chrome ring's days are numbered.....

    Yeah, that grommet looks more substantial than what's in there now. I look for it next time I'm over by Lowe's.

    I was actually pretty surprised... almost no squat at all on stock. Deff could tell it was back there driving down the highway though! BTW one Tacoma shortbed = this much (stacked pretty tightly)
