This was my other project last night. I bought some OEM fogs retrofitted with Blazer projectors. Just running the standard9006 halogens

 

I've been thinking of doing the same, post on the ins and outs of the install, I dont think there is any on here. Thx

Hey thanks. Took a while to fabricate, but I also just used common tools everyone should have at home.

Here are two more pics.

 

yesterday- archive garage relocation brackets installed, 2.5x12 kings, bed crossbrace, and wheel spacers. install master was @JimSnell . i did much of the work as well. full 24" of articulation with 3 tires on the ground.

 

one more shot. thought the truck was gunna tip.

 

Just cleaned the throttle body and MAF sensor.

 

Installed Pro grill.

 

Changed the center u joint. Wonder why i had a nasty vibration?

 

Got my @Mobtown Offroad TRD sliders painted

 

Installed these. Nothing fancy, but worlds better than the originals @160K+. Now, before you get on my case about Billys, ect, I got these super cheap. The Tacos a primarily street driven DD, and I'm an old fart to boot. They work for me, no more chop-chop ride, & I still have lunch money...

 

Wasnt to bad, the most difficult part is the top bell housing bolts on the tear down and on the rebuild it was tightening the accumulator lines (I crossed threaded the top line). ALOT of people delete the accumulator but I have a kid that is learning to drive so I wanted it for obvious reasons. Soak bolts with PB Blaster. Buy a GOOD wobble or universal joint 14mm and 17mm socket and 3 or 4 long extensions in 1/2 inch. If a bolt gets rounded off use the extractor set from Harbor Freight. They work like magic.

 

Bilstein B110-5100 extended travel rear shocks and Wheelers extended brake lines installed! Droop is definitely better than the crappy OME shocks that were on there, but the springs are the limiting factor now. Hammer Hangers are in order...
