Seems like just random streak of bad luck, but it would seem the long term cost of a new vehicle would be higher than just fixing, especially with the way accidents are tracked now-a-days affecting trade in and resale values. Tacos have gone up in price, at least here in California. I'd sit down and do the math. How much you have left to pay + cost of repairs vs how much you will be paying for a new one. Depends too on how often you like to purchase vehicles. I know people who buy an new one every 3-4 years and others that wait until theirs falls apart.
