2020 4runner will have TSS

Haven't seen this posted but the 2020 4runners will have precollision, lane departure and blind spot monitoring. New infotainment system is finally coming as well.

This means if you don't want TSS it and were waiting, the 2019 will be the last without it.

Still waiting for the Prado to evolve for a true 4runner generation change.

I wanted a 2014 so badly but the rates were terrible when they were introduced. I may revisit the 2020 when they arrive.

Picked up a 19 'cause the prices are going up on the 2020 as well. The new tech seems cool, especially cruise control, but it's not worth the $$$ to me.

 

Had all that in my 2018 Tacoma. I really didnt think I was gonna like it, but after having it for a year, and then moving to a T4R w/o it...it def helps make you more aware of what you miss. The blind spot monitoring, and backup monitor system was awesome. You can bypass the adaptive cruise feature and operate the cruise like the og one, but the brake assist def helped me in a couple of situations where traffic came to an abrupt stop and caught me by surprise.
