    Every kind of camping/wheeling has the potential to be better if you have 4wd lol.

    Get that van built and you'll be mostly equipped, minus having a low range

    There is a guy who runs rubicon in a toyota van lol. Really all it needs is a winch and some little mud tires and i can probably get is most places that you wanna take a top heavy camper van lol

    That's true. But going down ridiculously steep hills is where you really want low range. Relying on your brakes on a steep, rocky, rutted out hill is borderline suicidal depending on the terrain. Being able to put it in 4lo/1st gear and coast down a 45˚ or steeper decline without ever touching the brakes is where it's at.

    Well I probably will never take it into anything a 2wd cant go. Remember it will have like 28” tires and not much more ground clearance then a 5lug
