Will a 2000 4runner hood fit my 97 taco? I'm assuming yes, but dont know if anyone else knows for sure. Would appreciate any input available.

Ok. Found some brand new, and primed with the scoop online for 58 dollars. Thought it would look good.

I don't think so. The hoods on my '97 4Runner, and '00 Tacoma are different. And I know that the front fenders on 4Runners/Taco's are different, as are the grills and headlights.

I'm sure that with some work you could make it fit, but I don't think it'll be a direct bolt-on. Otherwise, you'd see a lot more Taco's with scooped 4Runner hoods. hahahaha

$58 for hood with a scoop is suspiciously cheap.

A “various manufacturer” plain hood from rockauto is like $85
