As the title says, I'm trying to decide the route I want to take with a DIY bumper build. I know for a fact that I want the center section to be made of plate and reinforced for winching, however I can't decide if going with a hybrid design with tubing or just using plate completely is the best option. Oh, and to add another variable, what's everyone's thoughts on stingers instead of the standard bull bar. At the very least I want a bull bar up front to encircle the grille, maybe even the headlights. Which would you guys pick for using in rocky terrain in the South East?

To give some perspective, I've been running an aluminum CBI Moab 2.0 for about 3 years and want to switch to a steel bumper so A) I can repair it since I'm setup to weld steel and B) I want something more robust in case of hard winching scenarios where aluminum could be deformed.
