Gas smell during idle

    Wouldn't hurt to check your evap/charcoal canister. Topping off over the years might have caused that lil booger to start venting to the atmosphere. If you're getting vacuum or over pressure when you remove the gas cap, that's a likely culprit.

    Something that may be worth mentioning: the exhaust will always smell like raw fuel for a minute after a true cold start. Might be a couple minutes in very low ambient temps.
