Slimline Hybrid Bumper vs. Hiline Bumper

I see on Tacoma Beast that there are two very similar bumpers. The Slimeline Hybrid and Hiline Bumper. I asked Tacoma Beast what the difference is and they are just manufactured by separate companies. Does anyone have any experience with either?

I’m about to install mine. I got a ba hiline. Im trying to figure out if I have to go through all the hassle of taking all the bumper off. I might just try to cut the piece out I originally went through Tacomabeast. They took my money then had to refund it becasue they were out of stock. If your going ba hiline try ebay or Morris 4x4. Cheaper and free shipping I’ll let you know how it goes

Well install is done. You def don’t have to pull off everything. Just cut. You can access everything once you cut. It’s heavy so I used jack stands to hold it. Takes sometime. I put on one but each side loosely then moved to center. Also takes some time to get it perfect. Over all took me 3 hours bymyself. Make sure you have a breaker bar. I needed. @jachal the the plate mount actually came with the bumper. I think they know not everyone is going to have. Which hooked up. Hope this answers it. There are a ton of places beside tocoma beast that sell this with free shipping

 

Did it already come with the dent on the bullbar or was it during installation?

 

@Matchu it came with it. Guess from shipping. I’ll eventually cut it off and weld something I fab up

Nope codes it’s low enough doent effect it

 

Does the hiline bumper work with the hidden light bar and winch?

 

I have the body armor hiline bumper with a 20in light bar and 10k Smittybilt winch. Fits like a glove!

I don't have one, from what I've heard no. But it seems like there plenty of room. So I am unsure

About to order this bumper and looking for a light bar to run with it. Which bar do you have? Looks nice

 

A cheap Amazon one with yellow film. Also changed to the yellow led fogs pods. Might get my winch installed soon. Pretty easy install. Scary cutting a perfectly good bumper. Lol
