Remember the game "Punch Buggy" as a kid? Where whenever you saw a VW Beetle, you would hit someone and say "Punch Buggy Red" (or whatever color the vehicle was)? It really was just an excuse to wallop your sibling or friend in the arm.

I don't see many Beetles anymore. Me and my SO started doing a similar game - but with Tacomas. Tacoma Tag. Taco Tag. Here in the Front Range of Colorado, it's easy to get bruised up playing it. I've gotten very good at ID'ing Tacomas from a quarter-mile away. You gotta stay on your toes out there, kids.

Anyway, I figured some people might enjoy this, and maybe incorporate it in to your playful slew of road games. If anything, I've started to understand the regional variability of Tacomas. On the Front Range - they're everywhere. On the Western Slope (west side of the state) it's more Jeeps and modded off road vehicles. Kansas... Surprisingly few Tacomas but lots of true blue work trucks.

(Note: We go for gentle taps while playing this game, in case anyone was going to claim assault.)
