The nearest Costco is 50 miles away but we do have a Sam's Club. Both seem to have decent frozen seafood. We got some pretty nice looking tuna steaks. Fry's (the local Kroger affiliate) has a decent freezer section. I've had good luck so far. We have a few restraunts in town but I really don't trust them all very much and won't go near the street vendors. One restraunt I use to really like fell short the last time we went there. Not sure I want to go back.

I don't go out to eat much, restaurants always seem to disappoint me eventually. I have noticed we seem to think a lot alike not sure if that is good or bad LOL.

Costco normally sells Lobster tails and King Crab in the 10 lb. commercial boxes. $258 for king and $218 for tails. They are not imported and coming through Russia so trust them. As much as I would love to can't pull the trigger. Sams sells smaller portions but haven't been there in quite a few years. Coming into the crab season and Costco will start selling smaller sizes of legs and tails. And do like their fish, shrimp and scallops.

Never been able to get the bacon on scallops to cook right as scallops don't like to be over cooked. So I have taken to cook them in really hot bacon grease, perfect still get the scallops bacon taste. Because cast iron. And bacon.

I have a full set of All Clad cookware including 2 steamer pots. But have come to love my legs and tails grilled.

Stuffed the Anaheim's tonight with cream cheese and snow crab that I thawed. Have found need to really cook the peppers down so they don't overpower the crab. And bacon needs to be cooked thoroughly anyhow.

2 lbs. of medium spice sausage and 4 have Pitfaced meat massage rub on them. Will eat them next couple of days, right now just want to get to the peppers! With apple wood for smoke. Training starts at 0700 on mainframe to linux migration. At this rate will be sharp as a marble. But will be worth it and can push through it, pfft cake walk at this stage in my life.

I'm just waiting to get out of the triple digit temps to start the grills again. I have made a resolution to not put in the OT at work I've been doing so I can get my own business going. Even at that, it'll afford me more time in the evenings to grill up some good food at home and not be tired all winter. Those peppers look great!

Still trying to sleep in the hospital. Feeling better. Doc says allergy to ragweed pollen set this in motion. Sending me home on Thursday if all continues to go well

Now they want me to quit using my phone.

    I might leave sooner.

Doc says allergies caused this. Ragweed and grass pollen levels at record highs. They have me in a room with filtered air, and on oxygen. I'm golden as long as we're here. Test will be once I go back in the "real world". Gonna look like a doofus, but will be wearing dust mask when I go out the door.

This getting old shit just plain sux…. I was a stud until age 55. Then the wheels fell off. Oh well..... All part of the deal....

Check your BP before you get out of bed.
Do it the same way all the time.
Don’t check it after you go to the bathroom.
Don’t check it when you go up or down the stairs.
Your really working to get yourself from place to place.

    Morning

    Well here we go.
First day back in the shit hole.
I can guarantee I’ll be upset and pissed off before 9 am.
The more vacations I take away the harder it is to go back.
One guy left because he couldn’t make any time.
So the slowdowns will begin and we will be standing around a lot more.
Maybe a few of the idiots will leave too.
    Crap..
Where in the hell is the coffee ?
