    Hey everybody,

I'm hoping for some insight here from you guys. I had my local Toyota dealer replace my front brakes & rotors last month ($900+). I've had the truck back there 3 times because of the noise the front end makes when I go over bumps. It kind of hard to explain the noise but the best way I can explain it is it sounds like tin rattling. Now if I go over the same bumps with my foot lightly on the brake pedal, no noise. So what in the wide world of sports can I do to make this sound go away?

FYI: I'm not sure if this has anything to do with what is going on but I installed Billstein 5100 adjustable front shocks 2 months ago and never heard the noise.

    Thanks in advance guys

Did they put the retainers on the pins?

    Torque everything to spec?

What comments did the dealer note in the ticket when they attempted to fix it previously?

Wondering if the "W" shaped springs were reinstalled. If not the pads would rattle over bumps.
