    I have the reverse light that has same wiring except taps into the reverse rather than the brake.
    If you pull off the tail light, just one of them, doesn’t matter which side. Locate the bottom brake bulb. Unscrew it, that connector will have two wire running to it. You tap into that with the t-splice. There were no color specifications so just slightly crimp one way and if it doesn’t work flip the wires and it should work.
