Get into Ham Radio. The Tech license is easy to get and doesn't cost much. You can get Hand held radios for $25-30. Mobile units for under $150 with 25 watts of power, legal. Look into it, tests are given monthly in some places. Download Apps on your smartphone to take practice exams. william, N5WOI.

Jealous! I’ve been eyeing these and the ray 10s in titanium/gunmetal. Looks great!

Took off all my skids, getting prepped for a Fluid Film day in a few weeks, and I need to touch up paint the armor anyway.

I definitely contemplated it because I understand how much more HAM offers over other communication devices such as CB.

Biggest deterrent for me was the classes and licenses. But I figured starting with CB would be a good introduction for me since yesterday morning I knew basically nothing and today I feel semi competent using a radio.

So I had some pretty serious vibration during acceleration and braking, brought it in to my local shop and they replaced the U bolt that connects the driveshaft to the axle. Had him rotate the tires while he was at it and long story short, came out with brake pads and rotors. U bolt + Rotation + Pads & Rotors = $558 day

Screenshot_20190905-062335.jpg Nothing to the Tacoma today, but made it to the halfway mark in this thread. When I started on page 1 in May of 2018, there were about 7500 pages. Seen a lot of plastidip, new tires, lifts, sliders, light bars, and washed/detailed trucks with a handful of custom switches, wiring upgrades, and custom roof racks.
Lots of cool stuff here, and I look forward to the next year and a half as I finish this thread, though it will probably be on page 11000 by then.

About 2 years ago it was harder to keep up, some days there would be 20 pages or more. Now that more people have traded or bought the new 3rd gens it's alot easier to keep up.

I did take a peek a while ago in the 3rd gen thread when my brother bought a 16 TRD OR and my dad leased a 19 SR5 DCLB about a month later and was blown away to see that it had almost as many posts as this one.
