OK, I don't want a lecture on wisdom of letting my 18 year old drive the Trd ... but as a new driver of course he rear ended another vehicle. There are going to be more opportunities for him to drive it so for now I am trying to avoid the entire replace and repair make it perfect and pretty cost. I am going to see if either I or a body shop can help me get things close to lined back up and on hangers. I will take any suggestions ... but if I get a full estimate of return to OEM perfect and want to weigh the steel (maybe a winch option) what are my best front bumper selections ? So 2 part question ..Thanks for everyone's help

heat could help a lot here.. either a heat gun, or even boiling hot water to bend th plastic back into place. I'd remove the front fascia piece (black piece) it's just clips that hold it on. apply heat to the center, and when you get it into the position it should be in douse it with cold water to make it solid again.. do this until it is straight (use a straight edge, like a ruler, or yardstick.

however after looking at your headlights and the hood... looks like either the fenders/hood got pushed up, or your headlight mounts are bent, or broken... can you show a pic of the hood open? something doesnt look right... and a pic of the alignment of the front fenders to the doors... those will help a lot..

Your going to need a new bumper or a good body man to fix it. I'm sure the clips are broken, but it can be salvaged if you find the right body shop. I would think. Best to get it done right and not cheap out on it.

Is that the culprit in the first picture?

I agree that tabs are probably broken. It may be worth getting it done through insurance if your deductible is low.

Got the same issue with my truck but no exterior damage to the bumper itself, both sides are popped out next to the headlights. Ive heard a lot of guys get a CBI bumper, buy the new clips for that little section that remains of the bumper after you cut it, and good to go. Some of my internal pieces are bent, such as the hood release bar, etc but that's easy to fix. Best bet, buy an offroad bumper, cut the stock bumper, and repair what you need to repair.

Edit: Last year I was quoted $2300 to replace everything OEM. I said to myself, is it going to affect driving, no. Do I want to spend $2300 to have the same bumper when i am wanting to get a steel bumper, no. Id much rather spend $2000 to get a steel bumper installed, and whatever needs to get fixed on the inside than just have a new oem bumper that I will have to trim again to stop rubbing on the tires.

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
take off the grill and surround. Underneath it will be a thin aluminum bar. That is bent. Bend it back to how it should be. then put the grill back, those end pieces should pop back in.

After it happened to me, I ordered my demello front steel winch bumper, then cut the plastic bumper.
