Curious: Why do people still black out license plates when posting pics of their vehicles?

Picture this:
Person A rubs person B the wrong way through a post. Person B let’s little things get to him so goes on a mission to find out more about person A to stir shit up.

Person B sees person A’s plate.. but isn’t a psycho and thus probably doesn’t carry anything out.

But if Person B had a few screws loose and also knew how to look up the information tied to the plate, he’d have the name and address, which you can find much more about Person A about now.

This is all hypothetical but people are paranoid and have that “what if” lingering.

 

I once knew 'friends' that jizzed in water balloons and threw them at cars of people they didn't like.

The good databases tend to be behind a pay wall. It's all phblic info.

 

Person B must have one hell of a memory! I can't even fucking remember my own plate. Unless person B is said "psycho" and has a license plate hit list. Cue Billy Madison...

 

I thought they liked to show off their skills in photoshop or paint.

Maybe a nice ring on their finger they want everyone to be jealous of.

Yes you can, like I said earlier most of the good databases are behind a pay wall.
If someone is motivated enough they can find most things.
