    Here's my bold prediction: The Bears are this years 2017/18 Jaguars and will finish third in the division and miss the playoffs entirely. Trubisky is marginally better than Bortles and the defense will significantly regress to the mean in both turnovers and defensive touchdowns.

    I like this! I'm more worried about the Packers actually starting to straighten things out this year in the NFCN, but more than happy to let them beat each other down.

    Sick of hearing about Trubisky though. I get it from the Chi homers, that's expected. It is coming from everyone else that it was getting especially tiring, like in /r/nfl.

    The Bears had just about everything possible go in their favor last season, especially for Trubisky. Tons of short fields, defensive giving him points, very few big offensive penalties to force him to throw, only 10 dropped passes all season, etc etc etc. He's ripe for a big 'ol step back. Not to mention their schedule is much harder than last season too
