Do you recommend any blue thread locker on any of these fasteners or just man up and Gutentight?

I picked up a set of these sliders used about a year ago and a welded nut from each of the long plates broke off while we removed them from the existing owner's truck and put them on mine. Is it possible to order two replacement long plates instead of removing the existing plates and welding nuts back on? I don't think there were any issues with the short plates, but it was almost a year ago when I installed them...

Jerry, Is there any big difference installing the 80" sliders compared to the 96" sliders. I have the 96" sliders for the DCLB and instructions for the 80" sliders.

Hey Jerry. I installed my 96" sliders o a 2018 DCLB. I have 5 bolts on the side and 3 bolts on the bottom, 2 yours and the 1 factory bolt. Is this good to go or should I drill out a couple of the smaller hole and install some bolts?
I ask because I have 8 bolts left over.

There is no way you should have 8 bolts left over unless you were given way too many. And no drilling is required for the installation. The bolts only go into the holes they fit into. All the small holes on the passenger side are brake line tab holes no bolts are used in those.

Ok. But 5 bolts on the side and 3 on the bottom is good?
How many bolts are designed to be used on the sides and on the bottom?

So I know how many more holes I'm looking for

They are all different the bolt packs are for 05 to 2020. Toyota has changed frame manufactures a few times so you will have a few less holes in the 2020 then the 2nd gens it's only one or 2 per side. You place a bolt in every hole they fit into other than the front lower mount that has 4 holes one bolt is used for that. How many bolts were in the bolt pack you should have 20 1/2" bolts in the pack, were these sliders bought new? And yes 8 bolts per side is plenty strong.

What size/thread is the frame cross member bolt. My driver side bolt don’t look to good, I want to clean the threads inside and replace the bolt.

I've had the bolt-on sliders installed on my 2016 DCSB for about 2 years now. Awesome product. However ... I'm thinking of swapping for an ACLB, probably a new 2020. Will the DCSB sliders fit with no drilling on the ACLB; any other differences between my 2016 DCSB and a 2020 ACLB as far as installation? Thanks.

The only thing that needs painted is the raw steel parts.

Any problem with these lines rubbing against this bolt over time? 2020-03-26 18.20.13.jpg
