Did some slight trimming of the fenders for my 35s going on next week. Once I get them mounted, I’ll remove my coilover and use a floor jack to stuff the tire all the way up, and clearance lock to lock.

I can fully articulate my current 295/70r17, and that’s the plan for the 315s as well. I will likely need to massage back the firewall a little more as well as cut a little more off the cab mount.

And then last week, I installed some bed bars that were a birthday gift from the girlfriend. Just cheap ones off Amazon. I liked the KB Voodoo ones but $$$. I wanted a solution to carry my kayak over my bed allowing free space in my bed for my gear. Works with my Low Pro QT roll-up tonneau cover just fine with some tweaking. There is now a minor gap between the bed rails and cover due to the brackets, but the cover has never been waterproof and water getting in the bed has never been a concern of mine. Then installed some J bars.

 

Ill be in this forum until at least 300k miles. hahaha hopefully!

The kids got a nice truck and even better hair. My younger brother took the same senior pictures with his red s-10. LoL but I swear the first thought that popped in my head was going outside at work and laying over the hood of my truck all weird like. Then having one of my coworkers take a picture of me just so I could post it in this forum.

 

If I waited until I reach 300k miles I'd probably be dead by then. I'm almost got 12,700 miles on it now after 4 years of ownership.

I bought Betty with 38,000 miles on her in Feb. of 18. Ill roll 68k either tonight or this weekend. 30k miles in 18 months!

 

Being retired and somewhat disabled is what keeps my mileage so low. The sad part is most of those miles are going to doctor appointments.

Flushed out the power steering fluid with Valvoline fully synthetic ATF Dexron II-VI. Pretty nasty. Should have done it long ago instead of waiting 146K miles. This is in a white Styrofoam cup.
