Should not be happening on a truck less than 3 years old.

Possibly. But I would suspect they would get the underside of the front bumper.

My 15 has them too. I just chalked it up to the dryer sheets i used one time to remove bugs.

Not a dryer sheet one has ever touch my headlights.

What logic brought you to the idea if using dryer sheets to remove bugs from your headlights? Just curious and asking for a friend....

Saw it on the internet somewhere. Soak it with water and use it like a hand washing mitt and the bugs come right off. Only did it once and waxed it afterwards.

    Exactly!

Actually i tried it out on my ex's Camry first cause she had some of those Texas summer 90 mph bugs that wouldnt come off with regular washing. It worked great so i used it on mine.

I have an older Altima that did the same thing. The clear coat on the headlights was also obviously failing at the same time. Maybe at that point, the clear was easier to scratch or for some reason or scratches became more noticeable? It took a lot of sanding and buffing to get rid of the scratches and old clear.

Yea, I'm afraid it's going to take a lot of sanding and buffing. The truck other than for the headlights looks basically as good as the day I bought it almost 9 years ago.
And I hate to drive it around with these sore thumbs. Debating over polishing them out or just replacing them with an OEM style or maybe a custom set.

Yeah, the bright side is the possibility of upgrading them.

Maybe I should start a poll and ask for suggestions on alternatives.
