this seems to be connected to the power windows but both the back and front button work. Anyone have any ideas? I have an sr5 and my uneducated guess would be that it’s for auto up/down windows that come on trd or limited?

All of your door wiring passes through that flexible conduit in your pic. Should, anyway. Has there been any work done on your door?

that's gotta be an aftermarket add-on. No idea what for though.

There's been some rampant fuckery with your speakers.

No blue anything to the OEM stuff, just these wires...

I had a 07 sr5 and I can tell you for sure there was no blue wire like that on my truck. I had it 10 years.

That wire is not OEM. Did you buy your truck used?

Take off the door panel and see where that wire connects to, if anything
My guess is somebody did a hack job on the speaker, then put back the stock speaker before they sold it to you

The wire is going to be to an alarm system or an auto up/ down module.

Typically the blue wire in an aftermarket radio installation is either a power antenna or an amp turn on signal. I'm assuming something isn't stock...or if it is, it wasn't at one point.

Another vote for HacDonald wiring practices.
Bad wiring can ruin a vehicle, but in this case, probably harmless and hack speaker upgrade
