The black on red does look really good. There's something about that combination.

Thanks! They've been great racks! Just curious, why are you opposed to the TRD skid? (Just curious - everyone's entitled to their opinion!)

For me I liked: its lightweight, aluminum, provides more coverage than stock, has the oil filter access port, I like the color scheme, I got a decent price on it. I dont major rock crawl so aluminum is good for what I do. I know there are other good skids out there, I looked at RCI a while too.

    Beautiful truck!
I don’t think the exhaust get that hot that far back. I’ve had the same spare there for a couple years.

Decided I would add mounting solution. Love the USB ports no need to hunt down power.

How wide of a strap did you use? Also how did you replace the seat back release strap?

They certainly are not fun. Lived in Charleston all my life until 5 years ago and been through my fair share especially Hugo in 1989. Getting up at 0 dark 30 to head back there in the morning. My Mom and daughter's still live there and Mom's place is a mess from trees down and debris. Been 48 hrs without power so far but at least she has my generator to keep the fridge and freezer cool but won't power the central a/c. Won't be a fun visit considering all the work that's ahead and won't have a cold house to go cool off in. Oh well. Gotta do what ya gotta do.

Installed my Gator EFX TriFold Tonneau-Cover today after work. Was a little skeptical about purchasing a cheaper cover off of Amazon, but I’m pleasantly surprised with the quality and look. Install was super easy as they provide brackets that slide right into the bed rail system.

Super small mod this Friday evening, installed 9mm cases for the valve stem covers. Just bought the cheap black plastic ones and pounded the down in fired 9mm cases. I couldn't find any of my nickel plated brass so I'll have to do 4 more next week.20190906_202908.jpg

"ORANGE VIRUS TUNED" - YES!!! Decals, AMOCAT, for the doors = (HUNTER) (RELOADER) = Tacoma, backwards! VooDoo Fab anytime rearview camera. TJM front bumper. TJM rock lights. Smittybilt (98510) front winch, 10,000 lbs. NAPA 725 CCA battery. Under hood LED light strips, high intensity C.O.B. 50" Blackoak roof top light bar, curved. Fab Fours rear bumper. And, the MESO Gashole, Locking gas cap, K&N air filter
No not personal. More like a mass info mailing. This happened to me before when trying to get the Gasshole. BUT! The Gasshole email was for the same day sale. I did not see that this one was for the next day. I HAVE the Gasshole and was trying to let everyone know that it was on sale. I wasn't even trying to buy one! So if anyone that thought it was on sale that day did not read the advertisement. Was trying to help. If you are not on their mailing list you would not know? Did not know myself, that I guess, that MESO doesn't do the same day email notification of a sale any longer. BTW, My post was quoting another member. :notsure:
