From Focus RS to Taco no cheese!

    Celebratory newbie post!

    Background:
    From Santa Barbara California
    23yo
    Loved learning by wrenching on BMW E30 chassis's
    First wrench story:
    At 16 years old, my friend and I Pulled an engine because why not? and re-used the headgasket and studs because we had no idea what we were doing...
    We've improved but not by much.

    Moved on from 80's-90's BMWs to a '14 Focus ST, then a '16 Focus RS
    Which brings me to today:
    I am a proud taco owner and bought into it with 49,988mi on the truck! no shame.
    - 2017 Silver Sky Metallic TRD DCLB, no mods.

    Although it came with a camper shell I do intend to sell that because I don't have any use for it at the moment.

    Hope to set a good example for those to come and have a solid presence here!

    my first ride was an e30 318i and that chassis inspired and took me straight to the world of handling in 1984.

    after years of various sporty things, i came down to two for my last vehicle purchase: Tacoma MT or Focus RS. i went with the Tacoma to slow my ass down. that did not work, thank you OVT & custom exhaust work. and i happily missed out on head gasket failures... did you?
