I have an UnderCover SE truck topper and I was wanting to have a push button switch on my dash to electrically raise the top. My question:
Is this possible and how would I go about doing it?
    Thanks in advance...

Can you fabricate some basic brackets?

Install higher rated struts on the cover, strong enough to want to raise the cover by themselves (but only just).

Fashion a latch system that'll hold it closed securely and an electronic pop-lock kit (the kinda used for cars with shaved door handles) that'll release via the button on the dash.

It'll have to be closed manually, but I presume you're ok with that. making it close automatically would be ultra expensive.
