had a squirrel chew my main wiring in half. Wired it back up everything worked perfect till I backed up and wrapped all new wires around 4 wheel drive shaft. Two days later I thought I had everything wired back up but when I tried to start it the engine turned over normally but wouldn’t start. Something wired wrong. Like it’s getting no fire or no gas.what wires could be backwards to cause this? Does the fuel pump wire go through here? Don’t know what wires go where just tried to hook them up by color.1996 Tacoma 6 cylinder 4 wheel dr. Any suggestions would be appreciated..

Pretty sure the fuel pump works in symphony with a the crank position sensor. It wont turn on until it sees a certain rpm.

Good luck, i hope u have a manual

Did you check all the fuses? When the wires wrapped around the drive shaft maybe you had a short and blew a fuse.
