Come by here I'll make it interesting.

Went shooting early, tried some new mags that would not feed rounds. Rounds would get jammed up in the mags body and not spring up.
Used mags that I know work, rapid fire, and one round fired out of battery. Scared the crap out of me, big poof of smoke. Then had issues with a 22 pistol trigger not resetting.
Pic of .45 with jammed up mags and a mis-fed round in the chamber in low right of the pic:
    stuck_rounds.jpg
Come home to fix the sprinklers that have been leaking for a while. Turn off the water supply, replace valve diaphragm, turn supply back one and that sprinkler circuit comes one when it should not.
Eff with it for a few hours with no luck, call and 'expert' with no luck and $60 wasted, still no workie. "I can replace all 7 of those old valves for $975". Umm "that's a lot!!"
Have to leave the water supply off, which I later learned supplies the pool so now the pool pump has no water supply.

Hoping I can get it out and replaced tomorrow but plumbing is not my ForTae, yes ForTae because I can't spell forte.

Looks like just the inner is torn, but might as well do the outer too while you’re in there. Have you ever pulled the axle out on this truck yet? That’ll be the hardest part honestly. Probably some good YouTube videos to walk you through pulling the axle and replacing the boots.

Might as well put some rounds through the valves at this point

    I absolutely loathe irrigation systems.

I have dug up and replaced more than I care to admit.

Boots are easy, buy the higher end replacement boots.

Be aware the clamps are 1x use only, just cut the old ones off.
C-clips hold the whole thing together, it’s messy but not hard to do.

I can tell you I have screwed up more than 1 attempting to put them on and not taking my time.

Snapping axles in the STi was my specialty

Rims came in a few days ago. Damn new fake beadlocks are
more fake than the old ones. Rings don't even come off so I can't paint them orange :angrygirl:. At least not until I can convert them to real ones later on.

At least I got he bolts all pulled so I can paint them black and keep all chrome away from the truck.

Another sad note, 37’s are back ordered til the end of the month. :frusty:

Grab them and see if they have any play, if they are solid, your good.

If there is play, swap out with replacements, they take the old ones as core charge.

You get the 17x9? I just got my next set of ray 10s. Last set has been great for the last 3 years

Need to do the bolts too. 3 years ago they offered black bolts as an option but no longer because time consumption

Yeah I learned last time that my 9mm doesn’t like steel casings apparently. Few thousand rounds through it previously without issue. Fiancé bought steel casing rounds
Yep got the 17x9 with 3.5” back spacing. Back spacing is what I was looking for in rims.

Side note, did you get your relocation kit installed? Looked like that’s what you were doing in the sc thread

Ha haaaa I dated a girl who was 23 when I first got to AZ. Thought I was cool shit like man here I am still getting it in with college girls.

Yeah no that was a mistake. If it's down to that and pillows I will stick with the pillows.

The one zinger that I will never for the rest of my life be able to forget was when we were sitting in traffic.
Her: "What kind of truck is this??"
Me: It's a Toyota Tacoma, third generation.
Her: "Oh wow a Tacoma, those are like super rare! You don't see many of those!!"
Me: Hun, this entire state is like one giant Tacoma meetup. There are 3 of them at this light right now.

Aw man it got deleted, I missed it! What happened?? :D

    Workin' on it....
Well I’ve had these Archive Hammer Hangers since Feb ‘18 sitting in my office and finally decided to tackle the frame rivets....

Picked up a few Cobalt bits at Home Depot - they made quick work of the pilot holes.
