What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Although I installed the soft tonneau cover quite some time ago I thought I would mention this mod. I installed a length of foam pipe wrap on the cross members to prevent flapping and possible pre-mature wear of the vinyl cover.

 

I got the majority of it. Does the clay bar take off the wax too? Not trying to wax too. Haha. My wife’s car was also close and didn’t get as bad. I used some old turtle wax on hers and I used what I thought was a better wax (Meguiar’s ultimate paste) on mine but the overspray stuck right to it and seemed to wash off of the turtle wax.

Finally got around to installing the meso puddles. I just keep underestimating these projects, and that wasn't a fun install in almost 100F heat. Kept getting that gunk holding the plastic cover to the door on me, and I need to get back out there and pull the driver's side door boot back into its socket (managed to accidentally shove it through into the cab), but it's all in and it worked, and I didn't really break anything, so that's a win.

 

Amen! I would not be living in the projects if I had that kind of cabbage.

 

Love it or hate it, I’m taking the graffiti cans to add some depth to the skid plate...

May take a day or three after I dry and mask it, but I definitely want to add some different flavor

Got my 1985 built 3 bed 2 bath house with 2 car detached garage on 1.5 acres of land in the woods on a private drive with a private boat ramp for $132,000 two years ago August. Nothing wrong that paint and a table saw haven't fixed. That almost equals that ricer and my tacoma. Not bashing any state or tw friend Just stating a fact, but you aren't finding that out west. That would be $250k plus in any big metro in the Dakotas. The bubble is pretty real here unless you want to live way out in the sticks which is not an option since the weather can be pretty rough six months out of the year
