looking to see if there are any offroad outfits in New England that are retailers for skids, sliders, bumpers.... just start to gag when i read the delivery costs/options for some of this stuff.. makes me hesitant when i see a $190 delivery fee for a pair of $500 sliders....

I live in Midcoast Maine.. and there is NOTHING here... I would be forced to fabricate my own stuff and i dont have a garage, let alone a welder.. if I could save my pennies and make a few trips to get some items from a New England shop, and keep money local-ish I would definitly do so.. a drive to MASS/boston (4 hour drive for me) area is not out of the question.. thanks.

Regardless if you buy through a shop in the northeast who sells a brand, or buy direct from the brand you're going to wind up paying shipping. With all the different variations, brands, and model differences between our trucks it's unlikely a shop will stock bumpers/skids/sliders/etc for our trucks.

Best thing you might be able to do is to find someone who's interested in the same brand as you and combine the freight shipment for stuff. I know a lot of us frequently buy from SOS Concepts and he takes very good care of us up here with pricing and reasonable shipping rates.
