So I forgot to mark my 5100s/OEM coils when i pulled them off... and the stock color code on each coil is exactly the same on both sides.(light blue, white) Only difference is there are 2 sharpie lines on one, and one on the other. Usually they have different codes for the different rates for the given side. So if anyone has the above, could you take a photo of your coils so i can double check?

I think i know which ones go where by the top hat/coil indexing, but want to be sure about the color code.

    thanks!

I remember reading on here the code. Try a search yet? I am sure someone will chime in. Wish I could help more.

They can only fit in one way, so the color code isn't that important I'd think

i did a pretty extensive search, found lots of info on the trd OR color codes, but that was it.
it would be nice if we had a sheet of the different codes for the different configurations.

typically, there are two paint dots on each coil, drivers usually has a different color code than the passenger. drivers coil is different to account for the lean.

Yea, the driver side can ONLY be installed on the driver side because the bolts only line up to that side and vice versa for the passanger side, so the color code shouldn't matter so long as the bolts line up. If you get it up in there and the bolts don't line up you have the wrong side

right, and the other thing is the orientation of the coil, the tail end of the coil points backwards. I found that in my search last night too. That should be enough to get me right. I honestly dont know why the paint code is the same for both sides, threw me off big time.

?? think it is red/green on the driver side and red/blue on the passenger. top end of the coil on the driver side faces outward.

good to know there is a difference btwn the SR and OR. I knew the actual shocks were different = interesting that the coils are too. Wonder what the rating difference is btwn the two.
