I love my 19' OR 4x4! I have owned 3 1st gen tacomas and all of them were awesome, but one common complaint of mine was the interior space in the 1st gens. The 3rd gen has all the comforts inside that I wanted and the size of it was perfect. I debated on a 18' Silverado z71 , but I came to terms that I had no need for a full size. I'm also 6ft tall and I guess it all depends on your body. I have a longer torso and my head would touch the headliner on the tacomas with sunroofs. Without the sunroof in mine, I fit comfortable and have about another 4-5 inches of head clearance. Power is decent and mpgs are not a big deal for me, since my daily commute is about 12 miles round trip each day.

CPS-65 I’m good for some, but I’m not for everyone.

Buy a truck and don't look back. Mine (19 DCSB TRD OR 4X4 V6) gets 18-19 in the city and 24-25 on the highway. I think that is pretty good for a truck. My last truck was a full size and it got 9-10 city and 14-15 highway. For me, this thing sips gas.

I love daily driving this one and trucks in general because it doesn't care about the weather, road surface, or if it has to haul something. The Tacoma has a comfortable cabin and good features. And, the Tacoma just looks good. I've driven nothing but a truck for over thirty years. I just couldn't get in a car as a DD at this point.

Just got 27.4 mpg out of my 4cyl 4wd auto. She's getting better as she breaks in a bit. I typically average around 23-24 as my commute is very short (10 miles) so she doesn't get warmed up.

BTW I don't have any of the gear hunting issues some of the others mentioned with the auto 6speed. It took a little time to learn my driving style and it pretty much fits me. When I want to accelerate more from granny speed I hit that little ECT button and it holds the revs a little higher.

I had an 2016 SR5 AC (with all tsb’s applied) for over three years and loved it. Four months ago I traded for a 2019 TRD sport and love it more. Great truck and no problems with either.

So true. I just got 24mpg on the highway going 75mph. You need to know where the shift points are and be patient.
