    Welders...

    What thickness should I use to build the tops of my doors? I don’t have to do any bending or shaping so I don’t see any advantage of trying to go very thin. Maybe 18ga?

    Get bolts that are either flanged or with washers that stay closer to the head to make it easier too. Just did it yesterday and it makes a world of a difference compared to the stock bolts and washers that can go down the shank quite a bit and get jammed in the slot

    Noticed that. The washers on my original doors are fixed to the bolt head. The ones on the half doors wiggle around and get in the way. Going to put the bottom bolts from my original doors in the top holes of the half doors since I'm not using them. :thumbsup:
