Yes I’d also like an update on my order placed last week 8/31. #14916.

 

If my order is 14785 and Humble Soul is 14916 and Raiderman is 14940 he must have sold a bunch of these on his sale.

8 days later no tracking info or responses at all?? Makes me a little un easy. Heck I got all the other parts in to go with this setup and installed / hardwired in. Just need my order to finish up.

 

I'm guessing / hoping OP got a little overwhelmed with DMM orders. I placed an order for a DMM then later placed one for a cable, decal, etc. I received the later order last Thursday or Friday but no DMM. I have emailed OP separately as well but no response. I don't care if I have to wait in the event that he over sold but I would at least like to hear something.

On a side note, the cable OP is selling is really nice and the Taco Sauce Only decal looks sweet! Now lets get those sweet DMM's!!!

 

I got a tracking number on Saturday. It hasn’t shipped but it’s something. He must have gotten swamped with orders. I placed mine on 08/29/19.

 

Hmmmm. I ordered mine on the 28th but no tracking info.

 

Ordered 8/30 received "order processed" and tracking notification on 9/7. He must be inundated with Labor Day orders.......

 

I checked my email. Tracking number as well but not shipped yet.

 

Update: So I never received any tracking info like you guys but my wife just called to tell me the DMM showed up today! I ordered on the 28th.

 

I got mine pretty quick after i ordered it. I will say the far right passenger side mounting point has a lot of flex with the weight of a tablet. I had to buy a different ram arm and move it in to the 2nd from the right mounting hole and its not as bad now.

This is a much better solution for me in place of the hondo vent mounts. I needed to have 2 mounts and losing the ability to position the 2 center vents with the hondo mounts and losing most of the air flow in the Louisiana heat was a no go for me.

I’m not sure I like my phone cluttering up my dash but if it’s going to be there I can’t imagine a cleaner more solid way to mount it. Now you just need a plug and play wiring harness to tap into the HU USB port behind the dash.


Anyone on the fence about the DMM should get it. It installs super easily. Just remember to drill the holes a little over our you’ll have issues threading in the RAM balls.

I installed a twin usb in the glove box. Routed the usb cables up to the top with some special usb type c cables from Amazon. It was a twin pack for fast charging. And bought two of these wireless chargers. One for the Mrs and I. And two 25mm to 17mm adapters

Just finished my install yesterday. I did similar to you however I mounted my USB hidden behind the dash components. I like your setup and may opt to move my USB device to the glove box in the future, not a bad idea! install was a breeze and I tapped into power at the cigarette lighter with some splice connectors. simple and effective.

I believe that’s what I used.

 

After installing my DMM today I’m interested in doing something like this. Do you have any pics of the finished product and how difficult was it to achieve?
