I am thinking about doing a 2” OME spring/strut combo in front and a 1” block in back. I was just wondering if any modifications are needed and does this affect the toyota warranty? Sorry if this has been covered but I couldn’t find it. Thanks in advance.

Technically no is does not change any factory warranty or void the warranty. That being said if something breaks or you have issues that when taken to the dealer under warranty and they can say the issue is caused by the lift, over size tires or changes you have made its at their discretion to cover or not cover. Some dealers are great and believe in customer service and don’t worry that the truck is modified(since some dealers are doing it themselves) others aren’t and basically will say to bad not our problem.

They usually have to give you proof that what you did caused the error/damage to the OEM components. Otherwise, they cannot deny your warranty. I don't think it's at the dealer's discretion, but more the toyota head office to provide the proof that they can deny your claim.
