I just wanted to thank the users on this site for all of the good info I’ve been able to sift through. So far I’ve greased my driveline, replaced my O2 sensors, and rebuilt my starter - the starter was a bitch to get out. Next on the list is wiring up my 3rd brake light (ARE cap) and changing my tranny, transfer, and differential fluids. I’ve decided to have the new steering rack done by a shop.

Again thanks for helping this formerly helpless under the hood guy save some money and get some satisfaction out of it as well.

Truth. This site has been a wealth of knowledge. Lots of good members and some great walkthroughs as well.

I've participated in and lurked in many a forum and this one takes the cake. It wasn't always so though, IMO the people who are concerned with status and therefore new and shiny things are also db's on forums and so new platforms (and their forums) are typical forum toxic zones. With the 1st gen's age it's mellowed out and you have more practical people here.

This forum proves 1st Gen best gen.
