Not really. See what works and doesnt. I've heard batery powered fans are great for staying cooler but I havent really used mine when its that warm. Opening 3 windows has been enough for me to stay cool. You may want to add some padding for more comfort. I use an extra camping air pad for a little more cusion.

Keeping it out of the stalker thread.

So the overload leaf is the only difference between medium and heavy duty? I'm looking at leaf packs now because my AAL was spongy with the tent, gear, full cooler, and spare under the bed. I was thinking the HD pack right off the bat and never removing my tent because I hate storing it in my tiny apartment

For the older ones yes they were only offered in a 2 options and the overload is the only difference. I think the newer ones are offered with an extra option Light, Med and Heavy, I'm not sure of the differences of these. In the next few months I'm probably going to redo my rear suspension which will include adding the overload leaf then. If that doesnt fix it I'll look into getting a different set of leafs

    PETIT JEAN STATE PARK
    9.6.19 - 9.8.19

I got to take a camping trip for my birthday and test out my new RTT! Aside from it being 110 degree heat index during the day, we had a ton of fun hiking, cooking, exploring the park, and playing with the pups.

First up was site 065 - mostly levelFirstNightCamp.jpg

Birthday dinner :hungry: I was having some drinks with the wife, put the potatoes on too early, and forgot about them :( No worries, just a little crispy!

We hiked the Seven Hollows Trail (4.5 miles) on Saturday and redeployed camp at site 066 across the way (better site, in my opinion). Breakfast of champions to get the day started!

Ended up needing more bacon :dancingbacon:

    The boys were pooped!

Grilled chicken and roasted veggies for dinner. I always brine my chicken now because it adds so much flavor and juice!

Neat little Azalea Caterpillars were everywhere!

We finished the trip with a short hike through the Bear Cave trails on Sunday morning.

My dogs are actually mountain goats. Absolutely fearless.

We were just talking about how much more fun that park would be when it's cooler out.
