Your switchback signal wire should be tapped into your rear turn signals. Front dtrl won't work. Your White halo power wire, you can tap that into whatever

I have had my halos installed for awhile now and I originally skipped the switchback function as I could not find the rear turn signal wiring. Where is that located I mean surely I do not need to wire all the way to the rear of the truck. So where do the wires for the rear turn signals wire up to is it the internal dash fuse box? If so which wires so I can splice my halos in and get that switchback function I paid for. :)

Do you not have the DRL's as the Headlights and not the turn signals?

I have mine wired so my halos act as dtrl they turn on with the ignition and my headlights come on as normal. I literally left the switchback amber wire just hanging there cause I couldnt find an easy place to wire to the rear turn signals without going all the way to the back of the truck. I have a first gen taco btw.

If your Tacoma doesn't have the headlights as DTRL,(even if it did, it's the headlights not the turn signals as DTRL) then there should be no reason not to use the front signals (tap) as the yellow input to the switchbacks.

Ok I was wondering why they said rears and not fronts. As soon as I get time Ill test it out and see if I get any issues and report back as soon as Ive tried it. Thank you!
