Speaking of being old I got a couple of these today...to replace the 50 year old ones I'd been using for the boat.
Same rugged durability and weight, good steel parts and they warn about "geysering" when you open them hot, but I've never seen one splitting like Rotopax can.
Will work on mounts, but frankly I don't need them often and will not store them on the beast unless I do so for now will just strap them in.

 

After doing the Subaru Tweeter upgrade last week, today I installed upgraded Kicker speakers for the doors. Incredible difference. Toyota should be ashamed for the OEM speakers they put in. Great write up @SomethingNew71

 

Wow, those are old school, complete with a donkey d.... Look like they're in excellent condition.

 

Sometimes "old school" is better! I sure do like the compactness of those RotoPax though!

 

Something I intend on doing as well, it's on the list. Problem is it's a big list!

Also to what did you do to your 3rd Gen.

 

I’m working towards this as well. I have the back speakers ready but still saving for the front to do them all at once. I did go ahead and install the 12” kicker L7 and amp.

 

Waiting for new tire installation...hehe hehe

Looking for a source for glove box and door (4 door) sill vinyls in silver. Checked with Cboy and looked on the TVD site. Does anyone have a source that they can provide? I've seen them but can't remember where. Thanks in advance.
