Yup, exactly. Any idea what would be in that area?

Plug it up with some silicone. Rent/Buy your self an ozone generator and during the day keep all your windows up. It will take time but the smell will dissipate.

    Congrats on finding it!

Can't really tell the location can you take a pic further out and point with your finger where that hole is

I'm gonna rip everything up and replace the carpet entirely. Way too much mildew and nasty stuff to keep it.

Here's a picture of it, I put a screw in that I had coated in sealant into the hole and I'm gonna plug it further with silicone next chance I get. I'm gonna let the stuff cure first and see if that takes care of it completely.

I really appreciate the help, I just wish I knew what is supposed to be there, haha.

It's circled in red, this is after I put the screw in it. Previously there was nothing there, but the slot next to it was occupied by something.

Did the screw stop the water from entering? Maybe put some silicone on the screw that tap it in.

I'm letting the stuff I put on the screw cure before testing it, but I will silicone over the top. Any ideas what the hole is?

Look on the other side of the firewall and see what is there, maybe it just lost a bolt...

It's located directly under the AC drain on the engine side of the firewall. There's no exit point from under there so I'm assuming it only exists inside of the thing.

I'm not sure, the screw sticks out of that end.

Probably any silicone “kitchen and bath” or “window and door” from a home center would do just fine.

If you're having that issue, plug it with a screw coasted in plumbers putty.

My blower motor started making noise a couple weeks ago and I was leaning on the motor going bad. Today I went to remove it to see if it just needed cleaned or maybe a spot of grease on the end. As soon as I got the screws loose water came running out.
I had my windshield replaced 2 summers ago. Odd that it would take this long to leak, but everything else checks out fine.
(Just found my drain tube extension was linked and backed up. Straitened it and had a good 4 or 5 oz of water run out.)
