Ordering a set of Maxtrax and I'm trying to mount them to my relentless fabrication cargo bed bars but I was wondering if anyone has any solid solutions or suggestions before I go to the hardware store to try and rig something up? Pics would be a great help but any info in general is greatly appreciated! Cheers.IMG_8447.jpg

Do you have a roof rack?

Have you checked the dimensions of the maxtrax and are sure they will fit on your bed bars?

If I were mounting to them, I would order the mounting kit and retrofit it to the bars.

I’m lazy. Mine are just Velcro strapped to the side.

You can kind of see here.

Maybe you use some u bolts to attach them? That’s onlt a few bucks at a hardware store.

Maybe under the tent. Flat up against the bars.

Until I can find a cleaner, semi-permanent mounting solution, this is basically what I did. Heavy-duty zip ties, flat underneath my bed bars.

They're on the workbench until the Prinsu goes back on..
I will say the maxtrax mounting posts are great, between latching them down and padlocking them on it's a very clean solution.

How would you add those to bed bars?

This will work perfectly! I wanted to use the matraxx mounting pin set but didn't know the best way to secure them to the bars. I think these will be great. If the maxtraxx don't fit on the side of the bars I plan on mounting them directly below the tent.

Yeah, I had the maxtraxx mounting pin sets mounted to those UTV mounts underneath my bedrack, but needed to take my tent off to do it and was too lazy haha. Now I've got them mounted just straight to my bedrack after getting my new mount welded on my bedrack.

Easy to get under it to wash, a bit tricky to wax- can’t fit the pc under the bars but it gets close enough. You could always loosen them and move them as well.

Custom made Maxtrax MkII mount for the 3rd gen Tacoma! They bolt into the existing bolt hole using the oem bolt and hold two Maxtrax MkII Recovery Boards. Let me know if you're interest in one!

I have a set of the mounting posts for sale cheap. Tred 1100 mounts, work for Maxtrax as well. Very stout all metal, can lock the tops.

I plan to add a topper this spring, so I don't want to spend a ton on a temporary mounting solution for the MaxTrax... This printed mount looks perfect...

@supralee How would I secure the MaxTrax with your mount? It looks like someone could just walk up and take them?
