    Imo it wasn't about being expensive. The pro just didnt have any qualities that separated it from a standard OR e.g. V8 engine.

    IMO, Toyota being a conservative company was just getting their feet wet with the offshoot Pro model. They were just testing the market place seeing if there is a large enough space for a higher end more expensive performance truck.
    So I definitely think the 4th Gen will bring on a more performance oriented Pro...”ala Raptor”. I can imagine custom flared out fenders & body works, dedicated engine/transmission and suspension, wheels and tires...special interior... saving my money already for it.
