We got a 1/4" here at the fire station. We all stopped and were confused as to what was happening. It's been so long since we have seen it.

I know the feeling. When I finally tried to do something this AM, went out, heard thunder, looked up to see grey and WTF? Went and got mail, closed the door, and downpour!
Since garage work involves rolling everything out into the drive for room, took naps instead.

 

Ha ha I was taking piles of trash out to the dumpster. By the 3rd trip I was like the temp has dropped and the sky is getting dark.

I walked back into the bay, and mentioned,"i think we are about to get rain", then BAM wet stuff started falling from the sky and lasted about 20 minutes.

 

We got like three of those today, and noisy as they were, measured only 0.01" finally! We get a little more tomorrow, maybe I won't have to water. We spent more on water than last month than electricity!

 

You need soakers hoses, or below surface water lines. Save the evaporation and let more go into the lawn and plants.

Well, my comment is kind of a misnomer, because with the solar, electricity is only about $50. And permitting underground here requires a permit that they don't even have an inspector for, so... I got rain barrels, and far too many potted plants. Yard is green, aerated, and I am not letting it go brown until season end!

 

Ya it was because like a newbie I hooked up the negative to the battery. Idk why. I have made some many things with electronics on my cars and I really don’t know why I did that. Grounded it to the body and it works fine. Thanks for all the help guys. really can’t believe I did that. I was thinking about doing that to. What breaker did u get? O and steel.

 

I thought so, but could not make it pop up - anyway, someone else didn't know you had joined up with the C&C.
