    Hey folks!

Well, it's a sad day for me -- wife and I just had our first baby, and it looks like my daily driver is going to have to change.

I've got a 97 4x4, 3.4L V6, with 104,000 on the odo. Tread is clean, lots of new parts (fuel pump, filter, o2 sensors, plugs, wires, fuel injectors in the past four months). Good, straight body, rust-free where it matters (and very little rust, otherwise), altogether a great truck. I bought it with plans to drive it into the ground, but, we just can't afford to have a third/"fun" vehicle at the moment. It's gotta go :/

I guess I'm curious what a good price might be for it? I'm the second owner -- before me, it was a State vehicle (hence the low miles).

I know people go nuts for these 1st Gens with such low miles, and I don't want to over or undershoot on my sale price. Any of y'all have first-hand experience with this? Was going to list local, but am wondering if even something like eBay might be a good idea?

(Only photo I have, currently, is the one in my profile picture -- I could post more as needed, but mostly just want an idea of how y'all might approach this, yourself!)

Location helps. Id start at $10k in my area, then gradually go lower as time goes on if it doesnt sell. 5 speeds do go for more than autos, so I based my price estimate assuming its a 5 speed.

Yeah, mines an auto. I'd heard that around that $10k mark is a realistic starting point, but wanted to gauge the audience a bit and see what they'd be willing to pay for it, in theory.

If it's paid for I would just keep it. Eventually it will be needed again and a cheap daily can easily be attained for much less than trying to get another Tacoma when the baby on the way upgrade mentality wears off.
