Finally finished installing these in the front doors with Scosche SAT69 adapters. Also installed the Subaru Kicker tweeters with the help of tacomaholic’s video. Much better sound over O.E. With stock head unit.

Started it up and noticed a weird sound in reverse found the fan was touching the shorud and the engine was crooked, crawled under to that. Truck has seen years of hard wheeling in the past but hasn’t been off-road recently.

Truck was in California high desert it’s whole life. It’s definitely seen difficult trails but this past year it’s hardly been driven. Definitely my unlucky day

Just a bunch of old crap
Swapped out my 2 73 liter alu-boxes for a single 120L. Perfect fit widthwise between the jerry can brackets. Opens to the rear so it's much easier access. Fits on the 2 locking mounts that the 73's go on thanks to the same depth footprint. Sits a couple inches lower so I have my rear view back again, too. I was barely half filling my 73's, so going a little less volume with a shorter fit made sense.

I can still fit the 73's in behind the 120L mounted can and in front of the cooler.

    20190911_134307.jpg

    Improved rear view

    20190911_134209.jpg

Previous setup using 2 73L cans. I'll still be able to do this config because I didn't have to move their brackets thanks to the same depth dimensions on all 3 cans.
