We have not changed the site design for a long time. First, never change the structure of the site. After changing the design, the pages must remain the same URL addresses. It is very important (redesign involves simply changing the appearance and no more). If you change page addresses, it will entail reindexing, 404 errors (if there will not be 301 redirects), and the distribution of static weight on the pages will be completely different.
