Semi truck pulled into my parking lot at work today, where he wasn’t supposed to be (they have their own gate/lanes for deliveries about half a mile down), and plowed my fucking PARKED truck. Only had it since February and now this. He left his company name, his info, bosses info and insurance info at security for me, they tracked me down about 5 hours after the incident. Sick over it to be honest, having something that’s been hit in the front always makes me wary and I’ll be curious as to the extent of the damages. Truck started but I decided not to move it, rather have it towed since I don’t know what else could be wrong yet.

Monday I had an abscess tooth, Tuesday I got the news I have to have knee surgery and now this. Hell of a week lol.

Looks as if you're parked in an area you're not supposed to be as well. Not sure if that could be of an issue if the boss decides to fight it?

Well, they say bad things come in threes, so hopefully you're done for a while. Sorry about your truck, but insurance will get it fixed up good as new.

Geez, that sucks. You’ve had a miserable week, for sure. I hope that gets better, and your truck gets mended to your complete satisfaction. I guess if you’re looking for a bright side it’s the truck driver leaving his information.

Nope in a spot, was just over the line for a little breathing room for door dings, the pic makes it look like it though. I asked the same thing and submitted pics already to their insurance, and we thankfully have it on video with security.

I guess that might be one of the reasons that space was striped as no parking :anonymous:

Seriously though.... good luck with the repairs. Hopefully the damage is mostly cosmetic!

Just a tire over, door ding avoidance. I don’t deny the technicality but the pic makes it look like it wasn’t in a spot at all , it was though mostly I promise! Lol

Sounds like you and the truck need to spend the weekend at the body shop. Sleep on it. You will feel better in the morning. Good luck with surgery by the way.

Thanks all, definitely ready for a turn around. It’s hard to see from the pictures but I’m 1)confused on how he got into our lot without damaging his own rig to begin with, they’re some pretty sharp narrow turns and they’re restricted from being there anyway and 2) how he managed to nail the front the way that he did. I haven’t got to see the video yet but security saved it for me should I need it at their office.

Edit - anything repair wise I should be wary of or worried about with a strike like this? Never dealt with anything like this before. And like someone said yes, thankfully he did stop and give all his info and they at least for now seem ready and willing to make it right.
