Has anyone purchased this? (link below)

I found a thread where lots of people on here have purchased the regular Lomax Tonneau Cover, but I'm wondering if anyone has spent the extra $200-300 for the pro series. Appears to be more heavy duty material (aluminum with diamond plate finish) and has a higher weight rating (500 pounds of evenly distributed weight). If so, is it as heavy duty as it looks? Worth the extra money?

I have the standard one and I'm happy with it. Don't like the look of the diamond plate one. Can't say for sure about the difference but don't see where going from 400 to 500 pounds would really matter. There's no way I'd ever consider standing on this cover and doubt that will change with pro version.

I got the regular one and like it a lot. I looked at the pro but didn’t need anything heavy duty. Don’t care for the diamond plate either.

You might want to look at the Extang Solid Fold 2.0 before you decide.

I love the low profile of this cover. I have an eMail to the company regarding the rubber seals and such if they would sell them separately in an event of replacing them due to damage, cracking, weather exposure over time, etc. It's been my experience that this is one of the first points of failure from a longevity point. I've had the "Truck Cover USA" on my old Sierra for 16yrs and have had to replace the seals several times. So i've been there. ACI's first response is they do not sell these items/parts separately. I hope they reconsider otherwise. I guess the current customers will need to figure out an alternative seal/rubber when needed.

I'd be interested in what they say. I just got mine in yesterday (the regular, not the Pro). I love it already, its low profile and seems well built.

Standard here and so far, its been solid. The rubber seal (you have to cut to fit) is wedged between the rail/mount and bed. I think you can use any type of rubber seal.
