Meh. East cost vehicles rust. Nothing you can do about it. I think we have 10 year warranty on the frames anyway so they added a couple years due to heavy salt usage.

My Jeep has more rust in 2 years in VA than the 20+ in Colorado.

The way it’s worded, it says the frame is a 3yr/36k warranty.

My last truck, non Toyota, spent 7yrs up north before me then 9yrs on the gulf. So I’m not really sure how much rust I can expect being that those 7 yrs took a number on the cladding covered rockers and all body mount brackets

My first generation frame rusted through in 7 years (and was replaced by Toyota).

12 years sounds pretty good if you get their Mop & Glow treatment. I wonder if they will apply it over my already heavily fluid-filmed frame.

Kinda nice they did that, my 18 has started to rust on all the frame welds. Treat it like Rocky 4, If he dies, he dies

Yes IF you fall in the requirements of this campaign. It’s up to 17 (so my 18 doesn’t qualify) AND it also has to be in the states listed (also mine does not) … so then it says standard frame rust warranty is 3yrs/36k

Edit: my original response was to the post about it being 10 yrs standard btw

I just got mine done! I basically drove it off the lot and a few days later got it coated with Ziebart. After getting it done I read alot of negative reviews about it and how Krown might have been the better option..

I'm curious if (or when) the 2019 will get this, if that means I wont be eligible for the 10 year warranty...

    What's everyone think?

No, but they probably use less SALT. Different state's DOTs use different materials on the roads. Some use salt, some use sand, and some use something besides salt as a de-icing compound. Toyota is doing this in states that have cold weather AND use a lot of salt on the roads.

they sprayed this on my 2002 .the problem is you cant see the frame afterwords must blindly hit parts with a hammer 10 years out what fun!!!!(fluid filming it after the 10 years does at least soften it back up.

They are going to coat a whole bunch of peoples frames with their garbage product and cause them to rust out.
